Terms and Conditions
We hereby inform you that the website www.islacanela.es (hereinafter, the “Website”) is the property of ISLA CANELA, S.A., Spanish Tax ID (CIF) A-780795852, with its registered office at Glorieta de Cuatro Caminos 6 y 7, 4th Floor, 28020 Madrid, Spain (hereinafter, “Isla Canela”).
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Website and of the products and services, whether proprietary or provided by collaborating third parties of Isla Canela (hereinafter, the “Services”).
The user (hereinafter, the “User”) enters into a service contract (hereinafter, the “Contract”) with Isla Canela.

1. Conditions of Use
Given the nature, content and purpose of the Website, by accepting these Terms and Conditions the User expressly agrees, fully and unreservedly, to be bound by them and by any Special Conditions that may govern the Services contracted, as well as by any subsequent amendments, without prejudice to any mandatory legal provisions. The applicable Terms and Conditions shall be those published on the Website at the time the User accesses it.
Isla Canela reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to amend these Terms and Conditions by publishing the amendments on the Website, which shall be deemed sufficient notice to Users. Accordingly, Isla Canela recommends that the User reads the Terms and Conditions carefully each time they access the Website.
The User declares that they have the legal capacity to contract the services offered through the Website.
To contract the Services offered on the Website, Users must consult the Terms and Conditions each time they access it, accepting those in force at that moment.
These Terms and Conditions form the legal framework governing the contractual relations between the User and Isla Canela and may be printed, consulted or requested at Isla Canela’s offices. Clarifications may also be requested by telephone (+34 91 514 03 00) or e-mail (contacto@pryconsa.es).
2. Contracting Procedure
To make a reservation through this Website, please follow these steps:
- Select the type of room, occupancy, dates and, if applicable, promotional code.
- Where applicable, add additional services or other options.
- Enter guest details, including credit-card details as reservation guarantee.
- Confirm the reservation.
- Receive an e-mail containing the booking details and reference number.
Additional services requested will incur extra charges unless expressly indicated as complimentary. Each service will show its cost and must be expressly accepted.
Once your reservation is confirmed it will be processed automatically and you will receive an e-mail confirmation. This e-mail, containing your booking reference, serves as proof of reservation and acceptance. The electronic document formalising the reservation will be archived and may be accessed upon request. We nevertheless recommend that you keep the confirmation.
The reservation price includes only those services selected and detailed on the booking form.
The voucher or confirmation containing the reference number and reservation details must be printed and presented upon arrival at the hotel.
Isla Canela reserves the right to refuse or request further information for any bookings that do not pass our e-commerce security checks.
Promotional codes – Discount codes may be issued for use during the booking process. Their terms of use will be specified when issued.
Languages – The booking process is available in Spanish, English, German and French.
Check-in / Check-out – Check-in from 14:00; check-out before 12:00.
Prices – All prices on the Website include 10 % VAT.
Additional services – Free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas.
Children and extra beds – Extra beds incur the charge shown when the number of children or adults exceeding two persons is entered.
Pets – Pets are not allowed.
Payment – Payment is made at the establishment, in cash or by credit card. The credit-card details requested during reservation are used solely to guarantee the booking. To cancel, please follow the establishment’s cancellation policy, provided during booking and in the confirmation e-mail, to avoid no-show penalties.
Accepted cards: Visa, American Express and MasterCard.
Modification or cancellation – During the booking process you may amend entered details by returning to previous steps. Once finished and confirmation sent, you may modify or cancel your booking under the conditions provided. Each booking may be subject to different cancellation and payment terms, which are binding on both parties and must be accepted by the client when booking. Please ensure you have read and agreed to these conditions before confirming.
3. Complaints and Claims

4. Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights
All Website content—texts, graphics, photographs, logos, icons, images, as well as graphic design, source code and software—is the exclusive property of Isla Canela or of duly authorised third parties and is protected by national and international legislation. Any use of such elements for commercial purposes, including distribution, modification or alteration, is strictly prohibited. Infringement may constitute an offence under Articles 270 et seq. of the Spanish Criminal Code.
5. Exemption from Liability
Unless otherwise legally required, Isla Canela accepts no liability for the truthfulness, accuracy or quality of the Website or the Services, including information and materials. Liability is further limited as follows:
- Technical failures that, due to fortuitous causes or otherwise, prevent normal Internet service operation.
- Isla Canela does not monitor, and is not obliged to monitor, the absence of viruses or harmful elements in content; it therefore accepts no liability for any damage that may arise.
- Website unavailability for maintenance, security, control or other reasons preventing access to Services.
- Service interruptions, delays, errors or malfunction caused by the User’s wilful or negligent act, or by force majeure. For these purposes, force majeure includes events beyond Isla Canela’s control such as third-party failures, government actions, lack of access to third-party networks, acts or omissions of public authorities, natural phenomena, power outages, hacker attacks, etc., despite Isla Canela’s reasonable security measures.
- Improper use by the User of the Services or Website, including infringement of intellectual or industrial property rights.
- Isla Canela accepts no liability for direct or indirect damages, consequential loss and/or loss of profit.
- Isla Canela will use all reasonable means to carry out the purchase process for Services but disclaims liability for causes beyond its control, fortuitous events or force majeure. Obligations shall be suspended during the period of force majeure, and Isla Canela will have an extension equal to the duration of the event. Reasonable measures will be taken to find a solution enabling fulfilment despite the force majeure.
6. Privacy and Personal Data Protection
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and Organic Law 3/2018, ISLA CANELA, S.A., N.I.F. A-78079852, Glorieta de Cuatro Caminos 6 y 7, 28020 Madrid, telephone +34 915 140 300, as Data Controller, informs Clients that their data may be used to: (i) manage the contractual relationship and comply with legal and contractual obligations; (ii) send, by any means including electronic, commercial information about our products and services, as well as festive greetings.
The legal basis for processing is contractual performance, legitimate interest and consent.
Personal data will be kept until consent is withdrawn or, otherwise, for legally required periods or while potential liabilities may arise. Data may be blocked and made available only to courts, prosecutors or competent authorities during prescription periods.
Data may be communicated for contract management and information purposes to group entities listed on the Website, and for accounting, tax and administrative compliance to public administrations, tax authorities, banks, financial entities, law-enforcement agencies and any other third party where legally required.
No international transfers outside the EU are envisaged.
Rights – To exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, data portability, restriction or objection, please write to ISLA CANELA, S.A. at the above address or to the Data Protection Officer at privacidad@pryconsa.es, stating “Protección de Datos Potenciales Clientes”.
Withdrawal of consent – Consent may be withdrawn at any time by writing to ISLA CANELA, S.A. or the Data Protection Officer at privacidad@pryconsa.es (reference: “Protección de Datos Clientes”), without affecting processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
Complaints – If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may contact our Data Protection Officer or lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed, inter alia, by:
- Law 7/1998 of 13 April on General Contracting Conditions;
- Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users;
- Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and e-Commerce;
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR);
- Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantee.
Any dispute or claim concerning the interpretation or fulfilment of these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Ayamonte, Spain.
